this is a summary of my activities while attending a humanitarian logistics seminar at STIM LOG BANDUNG.
I departed from Jakarta at 3:00 p.m. and arrived in Bandung at 8:00 p.m., I stayed at a villa located in Bandung where the place was in Dago because the seminar tomorrow starts at 8:00 at 5 a.m., my friends and I prepared to go to STIM LOG.
When we arrived at STIM LOG, we filled out the Guest list and immediately headed to the seminar room with the theme humanitarian logistics. we listened and listened quietly to the first speakers, Dr. ir isya nurachmad fund, M. Sc. Geological agency. the second speaker was Dra. Pelinta dewi, M. A. P logistics.
Logistics management for disaster management is known as humanitarian logistics, or often referred to as humanitarian aid logistics. Humanitarian logistics is an activity of planning, implementing, controlling cost-effective aid flows from point of origin to victim for the purpose of reducing the burden of suffering from disaster victims.
Its role is to ensure the distribution of humanitarian aid and equipment can reach quickly to the target. With a variety of systems so that assistance can be channeled on time. While the logistical role is disaster management efforts, especially during post-disaster, preparedness, and response to disaster management, to be able to ascertain objectives, exact quantity, quality right, on target, and on time. Assistance must be channeled as soon as possible during an emergency. bantun is not effective if left too long.
